Cova at Hope Island is Fraser Property’s flagship residential estate.

Citicene were commissioned for Preliminary Design and Schematic Design for this large residential estate on canal frontage at Hope Island on the Northern end of the Gold Coast

After an extensive preliminary design process through a number of iterations, the final design philosophy was based surrounding a coastal theme grasping the context and location of the site.

Establishing a highly regarded community and vibrant lifestyle through enhancement of the adjoining waterside canal and proposed marina context was a primary consideration.

An Entry Road is framed by lighting masts, mature Kauri Pines and Cabbage Tree Palms which help identify the entry and reinforce the view corridor to the Marina and beyond.

Other elements of the project include a significant ‘dunes’ frontage buffer along the entire frontage of the site which also reflects the coastal design philosophy and also doubles as an acoustic barrier.

Granite feature walls, detailed planting and signage all assist in creating a seamless integration of landscape and built form.
