a vibrant coastal neighbourhood with canal frontage and marina views

Cova Residential Community, Fraser Property’s flagship development on Hope Island, sets a new standard for luxurious living on the Gold Coast’s northern shores.

Citicene was entrusted with the visionary task of creating the preliminary and schematic designs for this expansive residential development, ideally positioned along canal frontage. After exploring multiple design variations, the final concept was shaped around a coastal theme, perfectly capturing the natural beauty and unique environment of the location.

The core vision for Cova is to create a highly sought-after neighbourhood that offers residents a vibrant lifestyle. By enhancing the nearby waterside canal and proposed marina, this community will provide an exceptional living experience, blending waterfront serenity with modern luxury.

design elements and landscape features

The entry road to Cova is framed by lighting masts, mature Kauri Pines (Agathis robusta), and Cabbage Tree Palms (Livistona australis), which not only identify the entrance but also enhance the view corridor to the marina and beyond.

Other significant landscape elements include a ‘dunes’ frontage buffer along the entire site, reflecting the coastal design philosophy while serving as an acoustic barrier. The vegetated buffer provides multiple benefits, including reducing noise pollution by absorbing and deflecting sound waves, thus creating a quieter and more peaceful environment for residents and the surrounding community.

Granite feature walls, detailed planting, and thoughtfully integrated signage contribute to the seamless connection between the landscape and the built form, ensuring a harmonious environment that enhances both aesthetics and functionality.
