a vibrant and multi-functional environment for prospective users of varying ages

As part of the revitalization of the Nerang Police Citizens Youth Club (PCYC), Citicene was engaged to craft a dynamic Landscape Masterplan that sets the foundation for an engaging, multi-functional outdoor environment. Designed to inspire movement, interaction, and connection with nature, our approach ensures a seamless integration of landscape architecture with community-driven recreation.

Through close collaboration with PCYC management, we developed a strategic framework that prioritizes nature-based play, activating the landscape to create immersive and interactive experiences. Our design enhances the site’s natural topography, incorporating indigenous plantings to foster ecological resilience while establishing vibrant, sensory-rich spaces that encourage exploration and engagement.

By blending thoughtfully curated play elements with natural features, the upgraded outdoor environment promotes healthy, active lifestyles – a critical counterbalance to today’s screen-dominated world. The result is a holistic, sustainable recreational setting that not only supports physical well-being but also strengthens community connections, making Nerang PCYC a hub for outdoor activity and social interaction.
