vegetation management plans
Vegetation Management Plans are typically required by Local Authorities and Development Assessment to assess the impacts of development on existing vegetation within a site.
Sometimes known as a VMP, these documents provide detailed evaluation of all areas including proposed road reserves, external works and development areas.
The location and description of existing vegetation including the location and extent of all site works including all proposed infrastructure and areas of earthworks are typically considered.
Depending on the size of the site, the nature of the existing vegetation and it’s location and the fauna found within the site, Vegetation Management Plans can range from a simple report through to detailed analysis requiring expert ecological opinion.
