Natural Assets Local Law Application (NALL)

Depending on the location of your site and the Local Authority requirements, you may have vegetation on your site that is protected under Federal, State or Local law or a combination of all three.

Species could be listed as vulnerable or endangered under Queensland Law, specifically under the Nature Conservation Act 1992 or Australian Government's Law, the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.

You must get a permit before you can clear or work on protected vegetation. Brisbane City Council also have a Natural Assets Local Law 2003 (NALL), which helps to protect natural assets.

Citicene has been involved in numerous projects that have protected vegetation, at Local, State and Federal Levels of government and deliver relevant services and approvals with regard to protected vegetation.

The risks and penalties for not abiding by these laws are significant. Contact Citicene to learn more about how we can assist in this specialized area.
