The aim of the landscape is to enhance the architectural intent of the resort by providing an appropriate outdoor environment for visitors, guests and tourists.

Podium Landscape

Due to the nature of the development, a large portion of the landscape works are on podium level. To ensure longevity of the landscape, consideration of depths of planters, appropriate soil types and weight in conjunction with the structural Engineer were a consideration.

Pedestrian Circulation and Equitable Access

Access around and through the site were consideration to ensure patrons, staff and emergency personnel could access all areas of the podium easily and efficiently. This included consideration of equitable access requirements to ensure the podium landscape met Australian Standard AS 1428.1-2001 Design for access and mobility.

Recreational Facilities

A sub-tropical landscape filled with suitable species further strengthes the holiday atmosphere.
